Clélia Jewellery went with Portugal Manual to China – 2025 edition

Last October, from the 17th to the 21st, Portugal Manual returned to the Hangzhou Cultural & Creative Industry Expo (HCIE) in China, one of the largest events dedicated to the creative and cultural industry. After our debut in 2024, this year I decided to accompany the delegation of Portuguese artisans, where we occupied a 200m² space, representing 13 brands from our network.

The days in China were intense and full of inspiration. After the long hours of flight and the inevitable adjustment to the time zone, arriving in Shanghai was like entering another pulse of the world — a vibrant city with almost 29 million inhabitants, where tradition and modernity coexist in perfect harmony. This start to the journey gained even more meaning by being shared with colleagues and friends from @portugal_manual, making each moment lighter and more special.
Every street, every light, every detail was a new creative spark. A perfect first chapter of this adventure that would only grow when we continued on to Hangzhou.
Arriving in Hangzhou brought us a different rhythm and a different charm. We joined the rest of our colleagues from the @portugalmanual community to participate in the 19th edition of HCIE – Hangzhou Cultural & Creative Industry Expo, at the invitation of @bahcadvisory. We were received with immense generosity, and we quickly realized that these days would be intense, challenging, and profoundly enriching.

And a sincere thank you to @filipabelo, founder of @portugalmanual, for challenging us and providing moments that contribute to our growth, both personally and as brands.
Sharing this experience with the entire group was a source of pride. Between cities, cultures, and encounters, I left with one certainty: these adventures will last forever and fuel everything we continue to create.
